First of all, OMG THANK YOU YAY WHEEEEEEE :D
Second... My hard limits/DNWs are no major character death, no rape/non-con. if you go the route of sexy fic: no waste, no necrophilia, no pedophilia. If you are in doubt, please err on the side of caution.
I recognize this isn't a whole lot to go on, and I'm sorry for that. I can tell you that I tend to love slice of life stories, slow burns, happy endings, silly things (not to be confused with crack-y things. I enjoy weird and crazy shit, but that's not really what I'd like for this Yuletide), etc. I basically read fanfiction for my happy buzz. If I read h/c fic, it's because it's been recced to me as "I know it hurts a bit here, but it WILL get better and there's DEFINITELY a happy ending." Most of the prompts I put down for Yuletide and try to explain here follow this logic. I just...want happy things, please.
If you’re feeling up to writing NC-17, I would be THRILLED because I always enjoy some delightful sexytimes for my favorites. I am not a fan of the super extreme kinks--e.g., scat, watersports, necrophilia, etc.--but I do enjoy kink. There’s honestly very little I don’t like. Thrilled, as I said, but certainly not required. :)

From signup: What would a "ladies day out" in Amdarh look like? Am I the only one that feels like Surreal and Wilhelmina might become a weird kind of besties?? What might a "day in the life" look like for Karla with the family she has formed?
Anything relating to a slice of life, special event, silliness you may come up with would make me happy!! :D
Further explanation: so I know I put down four ladies, but really, if you don't include them all, I'm okay with that. like. I'd love to see what would happen if all four of them were wandering around...say...Amdarh together or having a slumber party (omg. do you think they could convince Kaelas to let them paint his claws?!), but if whatever speaks to you doesn't involve everyone, I'm okay with that!
Anne of Green Gables - L. M. Montgomery
From signup: I wonder what life might have been like if Anne and Gilbert hadn't left Avonlea, if he'd set up as a doctor there or at Carmody, instead of in Glen St. Mary. What differences would that have made in their friendship? in the upbringing of their children? Goodness, what if Gilbert and Anne had taken over Green Gables?? You could do almost anything here, up to and including involving Diana (and Fred if desired) in Anne and Gilbert's marriage, and I'd be happy!
Please do not split up Anne and Gilbert. I am all for the addition of Diana if that's the route you choose to go, but do not split up Anne and Gil!
Further Notes: While my prompt does say Anne & Gilbert directly, I am absolutely okay if the story does NOT focus on Anne & Gilbert. If you decide to go another route, I would like to note that if you want to write about anything before Anne and Gilbert finally got their shit together, that is absolutely fine and welcome. Youthful experiments between Anne and Diana? Sign me up. Silliness and other things happening at Patty's Place? Sure! Crazy delightful bickering with the Pringles? I am here for it!
Dragonriders of Pern - Anne McCaffrey
From signups: There were allusions to Menolly and Sebell loving Robinton. Menolly even, at one point, says, "But I loved you first!" While I know Robinton is older than they are by a good amount, I always wondered (deep in the depths of my polyamorous, "groups fix everything!" heart) wondered if there wasn't room for Robinton in Menolly and Sebell's relationship. Note: i'm not asking for sex, unless that's what you want to do! I'm more looking for "the older partner" being cared for and loved and adored by "the younger partners." The tone is already there for them, so it's not like they weren't already predisposed!
You could also give me some slice-of-life style stories in whatever combination you'd like. Do not feel constrained by the characters I selected! These are the only ones that I can say for sure I'd like in the story. I'm sure I'll be happy with whatever you come up with!
Further Notes: Menolly & Sebell - I always felt a little cheated. We got the trilogy about the Harper Hall, and we know that Menolly and Sebell wound up together because Kimi had her mating flight on the boat when they were sailing to the southern continent, that they had several babies together...but I feel like in the process of getting all the stuff about Dragonriders, we lost out on what could have been really fun and amazing stories with the Harpers. So. Uhm. May I have one? or two? they can be short vignettes! Lol
To be fair, I'll take stories about almost everyone. Short, slice-of-life vignettes; long, plotty epics in which people realize they're in love (I'm looking at you, Mirrim and T'gellan; there is ANOTHER ONE we got cheated on); character studies; etc. I understand the series was about the dragonriders, but there was so much more in that world that I just. I need to know more. I need more about everyone.
