“Sirius, I didn't mean to!”
Sirius regarded Regulus coldly. “Of course you meant to. You wanted to be Mother and Father's favourite. Congratulations. You've succeeded. But you've lost a brother.”
“I only got Sorted!”
“Into Slytherin. From that moment on, Regulus, we were enemies.”
“That's stupid!” Regulus screamed. “And don't call them Mother and Father, they're Mum and Dad!”
“They're your Mum and Dad. Not mine. To me, they're Mother and Father.”
“Yeah, behind their backs.”
Sirius glared at his brother.
“You've changed since you went to Hogwarts, Sirius,” Regulus added in a much softer tone.
“Let's hope that you don't.”
