I found something else that bothers me!
How people really suck with communication lately. I'm not saying I'm great with it...I know what to do, I just don't always do it. It doesn't really seem to cause problems for me, though. A couple came to me (don't even ask who, because you're not going to find out)...seperately...complaining about each other...well, only 1 of them was really complaining. But they both sat there telling me everything that was wrong with their relationship...I kept telling them not to tell me...tell each other.
- If you're having a problem with someone, talk it out with them.
- Both/all of you need to take your own turn talking.
- Don't interrupt someone while they are telling you how they feel.
- Don't think of your next comeback when someone is talking.
- If you don't understand what they are telling you, wait until they are done talking and tell them that you don't understand.
- Don't walk out on the discussion...everyone needs to stay until everyone is satisfied or a compromise is reached.
Lastly, I'd be more than happy to help. I've offered to 2 groups of people already to sit down with them while they talk things out. Just get in touch with me.
