track meet!!
ok so i was pretty nerovus because i ran like shit yesterday and didn't really feel well and it was cold as hel
so the 800 came up and i stretched and did strides and martin calls all the 800 runenrs over to the start
and he says "first heat runners....kagan, broadbent, steinberg...and....WILLIAMS"(he didnt really yell it) so that was fucking sweet i had a feeling he would put me in there i dunno so im siked already so the race starts and i had really bad position and got a bad start relaly boxed in but i got out of it and broke away
it was broadbent, kagan, steinberg, this kid from union, then me...
soo i passed the kid from union on the first 400 and my split was 62..at that point i was like SHIT im about to run really fast...then on the back straightaway steinberg kept cutting me off and i was like fuck man so i passed him...cause he cut me off literally 3 times...then this fucker from union is on my tail and he tries to pass me but i just stayed steady and he went to hell..so i died like hell on the last 200 thats the weakest part of my race for sure...and on the last LAST second steinberg passes me what a fag...he beat me by 1/2 a second but it doesnt matter because i just ran a 2:14.5 800 HELL YES...my goal was 2:15 and i thought that was a little ambitious but HELL YES...
