leaving texas
on our way to the boot... well it use to be a boot anyway. heading to thibodaux Louisiana, again to stay with friends of the family. still no word on when we can go back and possibly salvage anything. there are so many things, i cant help but think, "i wish i brought that." i honestly dont think i will be able to take anything out of that house when it's time to go. if there is anything left after looting, if any took place. krista is staying in a nice apartment in pearland texas, which is going to suck. i heard something from kris' uncle, who works for the same company i do, he said they will be setting up trailers for us to stay in on site while we have no homes and we can work for time and a half. i have no reason not to do that so i am more than likely going to do so. shit it will be $15.30 an hour to do the same thing i was doing before.. not much. so yeah i guess i feel like the cuban feel when they are in the water trying to get to america and cant see land. i dont control my life. i am just taken by the current. dont know if i should paddle against it or "go with the flow." at least they have something to look forward to, a hope to keep them going...
