Happy Birthday, Little One.

This is my first public update.

I'm not sure how many of you follow the news--not just the local news, but channels that highlight international events and things that happen across the country, etc.

Anyways, I've been watching CNN with my mother a lot lately, and there's a story about a little girl named Caylee Anthony. Missing kids happen all the time, right? Yeah, they do, and not all of them make the media.

Normally I'm not the type of person to get too involved in these cases (my mom and grandmother tend to get obsessively involved, however, which is why I usually know about most of them) but...the little girl is absolutely beautiful. I'm not a very big kid person, but it breaks my heart pretty much everytime I see her on television, because after all of the evidence that's come up, I'm pretty sure she's not alive anymore.

If you're not familiar with the story, google her name, you'll find a story quite easily. It's a bit different than other stories, with her mother being a pathological liar and not reporting her missing for at least a month after it happened. Blah.

Without going into all of that, I mainly made this update to wish this beautiful little girl a happy birthday. I'll never know her personally, but just pictures and video of this little girl has managed to completely melt the heart of ME, the girl who never gets involved with these cases, turns a blind eye, etc, and I have been ABSOLUTELY wrapped up in this one, just HOPING she gets home safely.

Anyways, today is her third birthday. Just her third.

If you're interested in the beautiful face that completely melted my heart, check out this website: http://www.helpfindcaylee.com/

She's got photos up on there, but the one on the main page is what gets me. *sigh*

Happy 3rd Birthday, little one.
May you be in peace wherever you are.
