Hello All,
Summer down here in the City of Brotherly Love (ha!) has been good so far. Weekdays are pretty borring, routine regular day to day stuff. My co-op job this summer is with a civil engineering consulting firm in King of Prussia. Our group does land development. I take public transit so sometimes my commute time can be as much as two hours one way depending on the time of day. I usually get home in time to help put Aidya to bed. Our weekends are our time to do fun, family stuff. The last two weekends we went up to Lindvilla Orchards. It's about 25 minutes away from us in Deleware County. It's one of these places were you can pick your own fruits and vegetables. Two weeks ago was the beginning of strawberries and this weekend was the beginnig of raspberries. They also have a a petting zoo. There are a lot of birds: geese, peacocks, about 50 different varieties of chickens, peasents, grouse, emus, etc... They also have goats and deer. This weekend when we were there they had a festival going on. Aidya had her first pony ride and she got to sit with Elmo. Needless to say, she was thrilled.
Three weekends ago we were in Cape May. Had a blast. It was Aidya's first time camping and first time at a beach. Oddly enough, I think she liked the camping part better than the beach. I think she was a little intimidated by the waves and the vast expanse of the ocean. I floated her around on my boggie board and she enjoyed that. We also saw some jelly fish and dolphins. The dolphins got really close to us, no more than 20 or 30 feet away. The jelly fish were no bigger than my fist, but I didn't want to test fate, so we kept our distance. Does anyone know how bad they can sting? The campground we stayed in was really nice. We had hot showers...need I say more. See below for some good pictures.
Four weekends ago we went to a fireside at the Stake Center where Glenn Beck was the main speaker. For those of you who don't know, Glenn has a three hour talk radio show during the day during the week and he also has his own show on CNN Headline News every night. I'm a pretty big fan so it was extra special for me. Check out the picture below.
Erika is doing as well as can be expected. She's getting toward the end now and is pretty much uncomfortable all the time. Everything is normal with the baby. Everyone is healthy and normal. We think we may have singled out a name for the soon to be born little boy. This isn't set in stone, but we're leaning toward Thatcher Arthur Robert. The two middle name thing is a tradition from Erika's side of the family. Mom and Amy are comming up July 17th, I think. That's several days after the due date. Cross your fingers that he'll be on time so you get to see him, Amy. We are really looking forward to seeing Mom and Amy.
Hopefully I can get these updates out on a more consistance basis so I don't have to think back in time for four or more weeks. I hope all who read this are doing well. God bless and good night.

This is on the beach in front of the Cape May Lighthouse.
This is FDR Skatepark. I just started going there a few weeks ago and I love it. It's literally 10 minutes from where I live. I try to get there at least once a week, usually on Saturdays. If anyone wants to go, hit me up.
