"ooh leni, prounce this word..."
apparently my so-called "accent" is amusing. anavic brought to my attention that our friends like to just listen to me talk cuz of my "valley" way of speaking. at dinner that night, i was trying to prounce these hawaiian street names and they were just laughing hard core style. in my defense, these words are crazy and most of them have barely any consonants. plus its not my fault i didnt grow up in hawaii or samoa or anywhere else ppl learn how to pronounce these words....i grew up in so.cal where we have spanish street names....
