So this morning I've been listening to Funeral For A Friend: History, on repeat. That song brings a tear to my eye - in a good way. It reminds me of when I last saw them live back in December at Bournemouth Opera House. They played this song as the encore. For the last chorus, Matt Davies got the whole crowd to sing it. Just the crowd. Fake snow fell from the ceiling and onto the crowd and the sight was spectacular. It was beautiful. It reminded me that so many things suck in life. Being a kid, being told what to do, unforfilled dreams, loss, growing up. But there is those moments where you catch your breath, those moments where you find yourself crying without realising. Those moments that feel like an eternity, and will never leave you. It's those moments that, when you're life flashes before you're eyes, you smile at. Those are the times that make life worth living. That was an amazing day. I met some amazing people then who became some of my best friends AND it happened in my shitty hometown.
