What's shaking everyone? I should be in bed right now, but I'm not. Take that common sense!
Anyways, I don't know what kind of bass amp to save up for. I thought about Ampeg, but really, they aren't as good as I thought they were. They are literally modeling amplifiers that can only go as far as the programmed models take you. So therefore I'm thinking that perhaps I'll go with a Genz Benz 2x12 combo and throw an Ampeg 4x12 or 8x12 under it. The Ampeg amps might not be versatile, but the speaker cabs are more than extraordinary.
So, now there is the concept of a new guitar amp. I think I'll stick with the model I have, and just throw a 4x12 under it. I like the sound so much more than the other amps I've tried, and since they don't make this particular model anymore, I can't buy an extra. So I'll have to keep this one for a while.
