I've Got A Better Chance Of Seeing You Dead In The Rain...

So how was today? Well, today was good, for the most part. I went out and bought the new Coheed and Cambria CD, which should have been a given lol. But they didn't have the Second Stage Turbine Blade re-issue, but that's ok. I went to get the graphic novel, but the girl at Hot Topic said they didn't get them yet, and I'm assuming they won't last long, but I hope they are there on Friday and I can get it. If that fails, I'll have to order it from Merchnow.com or something like that. But nevertheless, I will have that graphic novel, I would buy it simply for the art, it's that damn good.

Nate called me last night, and he just got screwed out of his job, and he wants to try and get the band thing going again. Needless to say, that's right up my alley. I could really care less about a lot of things right now, you know? Playing in a band, man, that seems to make the most sense. I thought about going back to college for a while, but I don't know how well that would work out really. Considering the fact that I can't really learn what I want to learn around here at an affordable institution, it seems kind of frugle. In my estimation, I can gain all of the knowledge I need for right now for the influence of a band setting, and I want to be out and around my friends again. Being at home is so, I don't know, restricting. Playing an instrument by yourself can be boring, because no matter how good you get, if you never play with anyone else there is no point. As a quiet recluse nothing can ever be achieved. But as far as a future in music is concerned, that's the only thing I will call a certainty in my life right now. I don't care if I have to play a nose flute, I will. Lol.

So how are things with Katy? They are good. We celebrated six months of dating on Friday, and that was fun. I didn't get to talk to her today, but that's ok, I'm sure she has her reasons. Sometimes life gets in the way, and I can't expect to talk to her absolutely every night. In summation, yeah, everything is going peachy if you ask me. That's all I have to say for now, enjoy yourselves.
