Today is another birthday! But a SPECIAL one at that. VERY SPECIAL. Because I give credit to this JE boy for opening the fabulous JE world (and eventually leading me to other JE guys as well) to me. And for my RL friends, when I first saw George, he reminded me of today's birthday boy. Don't ask why. I just thought that way. So. . . without further delay, I bring my own personal birthday post!
HAPPY 28TH BIRTHDAY KEN!
JE must have this thing that makes their guys look a lot younger than their age. Really, because I never would have guessed that Ken was born in 1979. I thought he was the youngest in V6, but Okacchi is actually the baby of the group. So we start from the surface, his appearance. I've never seen such a cute face and it doesn't take much to see why I noticed him in 2002. I say it's his eyes, they remind me of a puppy's eyes. In all honesty, it's been five years and Ken has definitely not changed much at all. But don't let the face fool you, because Ken has a killer body. I KID YOU NOT. He'd never pass for a girl. NEVER. Okay, maybe his height. And no one ever said that Ken couldn't pull off the sexy look just because he has a cute appearnce.
Of course, his singing has to mentioned. He has a unique high-pitched voice, which might make some cringe, but his singing voice is all together adorable and you really can't blame him because his voice didn't change. I think he's accepted the fact by now. Nevertheless, the cute, high voice just adds on to all the cuteness this guy's made of. He used to not have many solos in the songs, but soon enough that changed.
Like almost any Johnny, Ken does more than just singing and look nice in magazines and PVs. For people outside the V6 fandom, you might know him from the 2001 jdrama Neverland along with Tsubasa (Tackey & Tsubasa, duh), Toma (dear Leading Jr.), Koki (KAT-TUN of course!), and Shingo/Hina (of the super hyper Kanjani8). Most of the V6 members don't really do jdramas one after the other. Instead, most of them are geared towards theatre or simply just V6 projects, Ken included. In 2004 Ken had the lead role was The Graduate. Yeah, that one movie from the 1960s starring Dustin Hoffman. Yup. This guy definitely has strong acting skills. As for the V6 projects, he's done three, two with the entire group and one with Okacchi and Go, his fellow Coming Century guys.
Here I stop to point out these pictures. The three on the left are from Neverland and the two on the left are from COSMIC RESCUE, which he starred with Okacchi and Go.
The one with the bed frame is from the pamphlet for his stage performance of The Graduate and the other three are from the V6 movie Hold Up Down.
Besides all that, Ken's also very sporty, probably because his healthy isn't the best, therefore he keeps healthy by staying active and eating a lot of vitamins. AND OH, here' something I find a bit amusing: Ken has no tolerance for alcohol. AT ALL. It must be that adorable aura he gives off. That really made no sense, but anyhow, in the end, I wish Ken a wonderful birthday~ And now for a little bit of media goodies.
28 pictures to celebrate his 28th birthday and 5 songs because he's the fifth youngest member of V6 :Dv
V6 - COSMIC RESCUE - an absolute favorite of mine!
V6 - Ai Nanda 2001 - I like the original, but this one you can hear their individual voices!
Coming Century - Have A Super Good Time - A good example of Coming Century's happy, jumpy music~
Coming Century - Natsu no Kakera - WONDERFUL SUMMER SONG ♥
Coming Century - Koi no Signal - The PV was Christmas-themed, but the song is good for anytime of the year!
