ok i gotta ask some questions then rant a little.
first.
What does a big white bunny that brings candy and money have to do with our lord and savior dieing and rising again?
What does us running around hunting for colored eggs have to do w\ it?
Why is it called easter? I mean what does easter have to do with jesus raising from the dead?

now onto the ranting.
At my house there are four kids. Then we go to my g-ma's were there is already one kid. then her 2nd bro comes over he has 2 kids. Then her 3rd bro comes over now there is 3 more. 4+1+2+3=10 kids. minus me. 9 kids. Alright... So were all over at my grandmas. the whole family. and during the whole day the only things on my familys mind is
a)the outfit there going to wear to church or the out fit there kid/'s are gonna wear to church.
b)what we are eating next.
c)or someone talking about the other one to the other one. gossip.
so out of no where i was like "so. is easter sunday nothing more than a fassion show now a days?" then a little kid pops off the best answer out of all of them. "no, we dress up to honor our lord who died for us." thats true..but to me. wouldnt he rather us spend 2 mins getting ready and picking out a out fit than 2 hours picking out the out fit and 2 mins thinking about God. I mean come on. so i have came to the conclusion that for my family.
Easter Sunday (the day Our Lord and Savior died for us all.) is nothing more than a fashion show.
who elses family is like that?
i think that we have all over used easter. and distorted it into another candy company holiday.
weres it all at? i dont think those candy ppl can stop us from going to hell. so we all need to stop idolizing them and get back to the true meaning of easter.
