So, Nightwish is currently playing in Detroit, which is like twenty, maybe thirty minutes away - depending on how slow it is at the border - and for only $20. I don’t know about you, but that is what I consider a cheap concert ticket. Alas, I am sitting here at home, unable to go see one of my favourite bands because I couldn't get a ride across the border. Oh, I am bitchy and depressed. If you could only see my face.
I am trying to distract myself with comfort food - chocolate pudding cake - and a perfectly mopey album - Mazzy Star’s So Tonight That I Might See. It's not working terribly well.
Apparently, next May Nightwish is playing in London. Perhaps I can guilt-trip a birthday present out of somebody. Yes. That sounds about right.
