a mind with a heart of its own

So, Muzzer-Micheal and I had a horrid time doing school with each other last week (again). She was really pissed at my “opinions lately” and I was pissed because I couldn’t deal with the routine anymore and I wanted to stab her. Consequently, we have now decided that she gives me a long list of assignments for the week and I bugger off and do them whenever I choose.

Well, erm, I don’t know how well that’s going. These past three days have really expressed to me how much I lack control over myself. I’ve watched more House and Enterprise episodes in the past two days than I ever have. I really am rather pathetic.

You know, I used to hate the television but now I’m almost crazed. Every single weekday has something on that I have to watch.

Monday is Heroes, which I was totally surprised by when I first started watching. Plot! Plot! And it’s not cheesy in the whole Smallville sort of way. And the acting is just spectacular. (Did I mention the amount of gorgeous men? Peter! Isaac! Mohinder! Hiro! Okay, so Hiro isn’t gorgeous, but I want to glomp him, nonetheless.)

Tuesday is Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars, both of which make me feel spectacularly intelligent after I leave the room. With Gilmore Girls I’m filled with pop culture references and am directed towards new books and movies that I must see. Veronica Mars on the other hand is expanding my creative mind. I’m almost top notch on the whole solving the case thing now (well, I was amazing at plot twists in literary works before, but now I have moved onto detective shows), in fact, I guessed last night’s episode. What can I say? I am a genius.

Wednesday is America’s Next Top Model and Lost. The former is obvious, as it is hilariously addictive. The latter I’m only watching because I want to know what the hell is going on already(!!!!!). And because I love Desmond.

Thursday is Ugly Betty, although I haven’t watched it in awhile. I missed an episode sometime back and couldn’t find it online and it was the important episode so I felt I couldn’t watch any afterwards. And I’m been too busy to find them online so I’m stuck. Oh well, more time for House and Enterprise.

And Friday, well, who watches tv on Friday?

And beside all these shows, I also have the shows I’m watching on the computer. Some I'm watching to catch up on (House), some because I’m feeling nostalgic (Enterprise) and some because I’m addicted (Gilmore Girls). There’s also a list of other shows that I’m going to watch; Big Fat Quiz of the Year, Queer As Folk, Alias, Queer Eye For the Straight Guy, the Russell Brand Show, 1 Leicester Square and basically any other Russell Brand show I can find because I love him.

Oh Davey, now I’ve wasted another bloody hour. I am horrible.
