I started writing a new novel tonight. I don’t know why exactly, but I just had this urge to write. I don’t really have a plot in mind, I’m just making things up as I go. I think it might be fanfiction, perhaps something in the vein of HIM fanfiction, although I’m not positive. I’ve only ever tried to write fanfiction once so I think I’d like to

I always get inspiration for stories from music. I love that you can hear a song, or even a few lines and see the shell of a story, be it a character or just a moment in time. I love expanding on that. Just filling in the blanks or picking up where the song left off. To date I have written two stories based on songs (The Girl in the Other Room by Diana Krall and Let Her Cry by Hootie and the Blow Fish)and one story based on a line from a 1940's movie, the title of which escapes me (the line was "couldn't you at least give me a smile, even if it's a lie?")

This is one of the reasons I am looking for music, I haven't writen in a while and I need some inspiration
