someone spilt peanut butter on the record!

I found the complete Neil's Heavy Concept Album online tonight (my old copy doesn't have Hurdy Gurdy Man which is one of my favourite songs. I didn't even know Neil covered it!), and it doesn't have a single scratch or such like the last copy I downloaded. Hurrah! It is marvellous.

I also came across the sleeve notes (which is also included in the above download, but I didn't find out until later) which make me giggle hysterically. "and though for long he had lain low in the quietness and in the darkness, NOW WAS THE MOMENT and with one terrifying leap he sprang out of the Wardrobe wearing nothing but his Y-fronts and a pair of Wellington boots and, spying himself in the mirror, he ripped in to one of the most amazing lead solos on the tennis racquet since Jimmy Hendrix on the Lulu show."
Have I mention just how amazing Nigel Planner is lately? And, sweet Davey, is his falsetto gorgeous. Even Muzzer agrees.

Also, Jesse fixed up Aunt Barb's old computer so that I may have it. Most of the parts are new and the hard drive is big enough that I can finally have XP back on my computer (I rejoiced to Davey when I learnt this). It’s so fast compared to my old computer that I am amazed; it is almost par to the upstairs computer. My only complaint is that it's wickedly loud. It almost sounds like a vacuum cleaner but at a lower level. It is most annoying. It even drones out my fish tank.

brilliance!, my family, the young ones, my computer, music
