Stupid stupid moments are fun. Please tell me I’m not the only one who’s posted something for a community in their own journal? Oops.
So. I kind of had a shopping day at thrift stores today.
We went to Bibles for Missions, and bought a $40 17 inch monitor for my computer. And while we were there we found this brilliant lamp for $12 ( picture here - go to the bottom) and ‘Secrets of the Code: the Unauthorized Guide to the Mysteries Behind the Da Vinci Code’ for a dollar something.
And then we went on a book buying excursion at Value Village, and I wound up with ‘Girl, Interrupted,’ ‘Frankenstein’ and some children’s folk and fairy tale book which is rather helpful when trying to write a novel.
And, miracle of miracles…(get ready for it)…I didn’t pay a single cent for anything. The Muzzer bought everything. She’s such a darling when she wants to be. Well, maybe not, as the monitor is for my birthday, the lamp she wants to yoink and put upstairs, and the books were only four dollars all together. Whatever.
