down to the river and drank and smiled

Hello, everyone. It's been awhile.

Things at the office are still slow, but I am not complaining. It gives me the chance to finish things up with the writing aspect of my zine. I'm hoping to start typing it up and laying it out this weekend (!!!)

Speaking of which, I am very much looking forward to this weekend. Why, you ask? Because I have absolutely NO PLANS. For the first time in months. I'm going to clean my bathroom, do some laundry, vaccuum my room, work on my zine, and catch up on all the letters I've been meaning to write for the past few months. I'm very excited.

I went to New York to visit Paul last weekend, and it was fantastic. Saturday we spent purusing the city in beautiful, 70-degree weather. We drank ourselves silly and stumbled around Central Park, ate burritos on a stairwell in Times Square, and downed a bottle of champagne in a dimly-lit Morroccan lounge. It was awesome.

Yesterday I went to see Wolf Parade, and the show was fantastic. I love Spencer Krug, and I love going to shows.

And lastly, my ear is infected. Not ear-infection-infected, just earring-infection-infected. I've been cleaning it several times a day, but it keeps bleeding and oozing anyway. I think my coworkers are starting to think I'm crazy for retreating to the bathroom every few hours with a bottle of hydrogen peroxide in one hand and a handful of q-tips in the other.

I'm tired. Can I please take a nap?
