Teemu's Number Retirement
Yesterday I got to witness history as Teemu Selanne's number was retired after a beautiful ceremony at the Honda Center.
I feel lucky to have been able to witness the career of a legendary hockey player and a great man. I feel fortunate to have been present for this celebration.
Aside from the day Chris experienced his first kidney stone, I have only seen him cry two other times... After Selanne finished his last game in last year's playoffs and last night.
I wore Selanne's Winnipeg rookie jersey with lots of Ducks gear to compensate, as we were playing against them that night.
