Overdue Update
I've gotten my laptop back, and fixed the resolution problem. The issue stemmed from buggy drivers; the latest version of Omega ATI Catalyst drivers was, for one reason or another, unable to properly display certain resolutions, one of which being mine. Thankfully, a new version was put out a few days prior to the return of my machine.
I've been playing a lot of F.E.A.R. lately, trying to finish that one up. Very good game, for anyone who's interested. I've also been playing primarily on my alternate mage character on WoW, and I just started a warrior for the fun of it. Blizzard recently announced the WoW expansion, entitled The Burning Crusade. The details released so far can be found here. All I have to say is: holy shit.
Spent the past weekend with my darling again, the highlight of my week, as always. We went to see Saw II, which was fucking awesome, and caught up on episodes of Supernatural.
This Wednesday I have a meeting the department head of the Computer Science department at UMF in order to schedule my classes for the upcoming semester. This also gives me a chance to see Ria more than usual this week =)
I dressed up for work today, since it was Halloween. I put together the best zombie costume ever. Once I get the digital pictures from my mom's camera, I'll post them. It was fun, but it was a bitch to get all the makeup and latex scars / facemask off. It was all worth it though, since I scared at least a few little kids in the course of the day, one so bad that he ran head-first into a shopping cart. Classic.
I guess that's it. It's getting late, I'm tired, and I have to work tomorrow. So this is where I leave it until next time.
