In Case You Hadn't Guessed...

Yes, I'm playing WoW again. After having a nice long break from it, it doesn't feel so boring or monotonous anymore. Will it again? Maybe. But with the expansion coming out in two months, I think that time will come much later.

My goal right now is to complete my Tier 0.5 set, which is an upgrade to the Dungeon Set 1 (for me, Shadowcraft) gotten through completing quest chains and turning in the old set pieces in exchange for the new ones. The nice thing about Tier 0.5 is that it's a nice in-between set; it has a few epic pieces, and is better than the first set, but not as good as the Tier 1 Raid Set (of course). Since I don't foresee myself having time to do any major raiding, this is a nice solution. GG Blizzard.

So far, I've gotten three out of the eight pieces of my 0.5 set, Darkmantle. It takes time, and is rather costly, but I think it's worth it. This is what I've got so far:

[Darkmantle Gloves]
[Darkmantle Bracers]
[Darkmantle Belt]

So, I've got those, plus the other 5 pieces of the Shadowcraft set. Not too bad, considering.

I've also joined a guild that I'm really enjoying, called Reign of Heaven. Basically, they're a laid-back guild, casual raiders. We did Zul'Gurrub last Sunday for the first time; we do UBRS and all the other regulars pretty often. We're gonna keep trying ZG until we complete it, then probably move on to AQ20. I'm happy with it.

It's nice to come back to Skullcrusher and find people on the server who remember me, and fate would have it that I end up in the same guild with them, so it's a sort of reunion. They were happy to see me back, and I'm enjoying the game again. Everybody wins.

EDIT: Oh man. Blizzard has posted an interactive map of the Outlands, the new area for the expansion. OMGWTFPWNAGE
