The last time I was on LiveJournal a huge window popped up and told me that I had just been infected with the plague and then my computer stopped working.
Anyway, I am posting about people with the best intentions making things harder.
You know those people we all see on American Idol that can't sing at all and they say all their friends always told them they were great. And people, way too worried about being the one to hurt their feelings, let them go and make complete fools of themselves in front of millions.
And think about how amazing embarrassed and sad those people are after the judges laugh them off the stage.
Now everyone knows why I want you to tell me the truth about my drawing and artwork.
I would rather have a good discussion with my friends and family about things that look wrong and how I can work on it than to take my work that I am proud of to some competition or some kind of viewing by several people and have a bunch of random strangers tell me how it's bad and what I did wrong.
Next time I ask you what you think about something, I am not fishing for compliments. I want your help! I want you to help make myself a better artist.
I think I want to go to some art classes. I want to get better and practice isn't doing it.
