So we got back from Blackfoot, Southern Idaho a day early, upon realizing that sitting, or standing rather, through 4 hours of country music was a method of torture, free or not. We left at 9:30 PM after dropping my little brother (Odor) off at my dads hotel. We arrived back in CdA at about 3:00AM, and we immediately crashed, which was so pleasant... there is nothing greater than simply sleeping beside someone you care about. We made impressive time both on the drive down and the return trip - what usually takes about 8 hours we finished in about 6.5, we made it in time for dinner on Tuesday night :D

Our time there was pretty uneventful - my family was too busy planning the concert to really hang out. My cousins and I went bowling and watched a movie, but the next day John and I pretty much entertained ourselves - heading to Pocatello for dinner and to pick up my little brother (yay!) and after that was the corporate dinner and the concert, so we really didn't stay for too long.

My mother was glad to see me when I got back home, as I've previously stated, we've been hanging out quite a bit. I'm seeking her wisdom in a lot of different areas, especially with the possibility of me moving to Seattle. She agreed to accompany me over for the weekend next week to check out the schools and apartments. I am submitting my applications to the Art Institute of Seattle, Cornish College of the Arts and SFCC this weekend. We'll see what happens :) If I get accepted in Seattle I'll start heading over every few weeks to look for jobs & apartments. It should be interesting to say the least.. I'm still not sure what I ought to do.

ALSO, that following week is the Creation Festival for 4 days at the Gorge :D I've yet to experience it as most of my friends have and I'm really beginning to look forward to it. I also am coloring my hair next week - blonde it will be :D! I'm hoping to get boxes this weekend also to start packing up my things and hopefully stay with my mom for August, and possibly September depending on which school I get into. Such a busy month ahead!
