WHY DON'T I HAVE A KLAINE ICON YET FML.
Last night's Glee was so good in so many ways:
- Jesse suddenly makes 'Rolling in the Deep' my new fave song like fucking UNF GET IN ME
- Rachel was just too flawless with pretty much everyone (Finn, Mercedes, Sam, Quinn) Really she was so great in last night's ep. Idky people hate her so much.
- KURT HUMMEL FOR PROM QUEEN. He was stellar. Just... fuck them they're not crushing me with their hate I'm fantastik.
- Blaine's fucking eyes when he looks at Kurt in the hallway.. just.. srsly humans do not have those eyes. They are like big, watery, anime eyes. They're not supposed to actually exist on people, Blaine.
- Dave... OMG you big, squishy adorable thing you. I just wanted to hug him sfm when he's breaking down apologising to Kurt.. he's so close to breaking. I just hope he can make it to the other side.
- Britanna!!! I felt so bad for Artie. I really did. He's so cute & he was so sad... but I don't think they belong together anyway. Idk who does with Artie, but Britanny belongs with Santana.
- Klaine dancing after Kurt was crowned... <3___<3
AND. AND. CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE FUCKING SONGS OKAY.
- Already said that 'Rolling In the Deep' was fucking stellar. Just.. oh hell yes. I don't even really like that song much but he was just the sex all over that.
- FRIDAY. LMAO I CAN'T. It actually took me a minute to realise what they were singing and then I just pretty much fell off the couch dying. XD
- 'Jar of Hearts' is really a miserable song and Christina Perri's version pretty much makes me wanna slit my wrists when I hear it it's so depressing. But Rachel just had such passion, such raw pain. Stunning performance.
- LOVE. LOVE. LOVED Blaine's boyfriend dance song, whatever the hell it was. He totally sounded like Gabe from Cobra Starship, which I soo approve of bc they're one of my fave bands. Side note: When did Blaine join the ND? Bc they were supposed to be the prom entertainment....
Also- was it just me or was pretty much everyone shipping themselves with everyone else last night? I mean srsly. Wow.
Things that sucked about last night's Glee:
- THE. JUNIOR. PROM. Sudden realisation that this means they're all juniors. Which mean's that next season they will have to start introducing freshmen characters bc all the current members will be graduating.... *crying in a corner forever*
- Title of promo for next week's ep: "FUNERAL" Whatever this fuckery is I DO NOT APPROVE.
AND THEN there was 'The Voice' which I hope keeps going well bc I really like the show and some of the singers. Others I didn't like much in the auditions actually showed me a lil promise last night even. Oh and cannot forget how hard I'm shipping Adam/Blake lol!
Tyler v. Patrick: Broke my fucking heart here bc I loved them both. Patrick is just a smooth, adorable cowboy. And Tyler is like a cross between Blaine & my friend Doug. Frickin' adorable & with that soul voice. So much yes. Really there wasn't a bad choice to be made, honestly, bc they were both so good in their own ways. I wouldn't have wanted to decide that match! Blake chose Patrick & I can't blame him either way. I'll just have to keep an ear out for Tyler. Yay internetz!
Frenchie v. Tatiana (is that her name, idk): I knew Frenchie was taking this one. Never questioned it. And I was right. She was just so confident & flawless. She had the voice, the attitude. She was great. The other girl really showed how intimidated she was by trying to over-sing Frenchie & she couldn't quite manage the notes on those runs. She was really reaching & you could hear it.
Casey v. Tim: I was really surprised by this match. I was sure I would love Tim & I hadn't really cared much for her in the auditions, but Tim came off with a bit of an attitude or ego & not in the good way. Plus I think he was constricting his voice too much. Casey really showed some potential & holding up so well to Stevie Nicks is never bad in my book. If Adam can work with her and get her to open up her vocal chords more to let that sound out, she could really be something.
Vicki v. Nicki: I thought that they made a fantastik duo & if this was the XFactor they prolly woulda been paired up bc they were blowing that track out together. But alone Nicki's voice was okay but nothing special. Vicki's got a raw edge to her's, & like CeeLo said, she has that 'war dance'. Just this raw passion like she's beating her heart on the stage. I def woulda picked her too.
I was worried that I wasn't gonna be happy how the battle rounds were going & losing my players, but after last night I agreed with all the judgements. The only one who didn't really get outshown was Tyler, but Blake couldn't keep them both. I think maybe he'll be kicking himself later for pitting them against each other.
Not looking forward to next week's show. Looks like Afro-guy against the big, fluffy guy. Then Elenowen against Jared. *sadface* Those are all acts I loved... just have to wait and see how they do I guess.
