Things That Made Me Happy Today - Day 3
01. OH MAN!! We totally got approved for the house~!! *hops around excitedly* We went out today to check it out and it's just gorgeous srsly. The kitchen is huge with a dishwasher and an island and so many cabinets we'll have to buy stuff just to fill them up! talalkhemiyst , being the resident chef, is very excited about that (she totally had like anime sparkles in her eyes looking at it). And the floor is that cool black and white checkerboard pattern. It's great. There's a laundry room with washer and dryer already there. The girls will take the master bedroom bc there's two of them, obv and the master bath is gorgeous. It has a big corner garden tub (which fearnottheflame has been dying for one of those forever) and a standup shower, which I like bc I'm clumsy and it's much harder to fall down in one of those. rofl. The other two bedrooms are a good size and all 3 have big walk-in closets (which makes me ecstatic lol). And I love the energy of how all the rooms flow into each other.. Plus it's at the back of the community on a corner lot facing the woods. It's wonderfull. We have parking spaces for both cars, a little shed for storage. She (the crazy nice lady who manages the community) said we can get a grill and piknik table and plant flowers (:DDD) and paint.. We're all so totally stoked! Now we're just waiting for all the paperwork to go thru and we should be all moved in by the end of December! \o/\o/\o/\o/ <-- us throwing a party! haha!
I will end up having to quit my job back here in LP at the hotel before long I think bc it's a bit of a drive back & forth, plus the house is in South Bend which means it's an hour ahead and trying to deal with the time change will fuck me all up. For starters it will be 9 am before I even get home from work. *ack*
I'm sure this will all be a fun convo with my family but I will deal with that on Friday. And there is all kinds of things to do like packing (AGAIN!) and renting a UHaul when the time comes bc moving with my lil open truck in the winter is fail. But since they are running a special and we don't have to pay the first month's rent till February we can afford to rent the UHaul. thankgod! Head is kinda spinning from all the thinking stuffs...
Thank you Disco Virgin Mary. I promise you will have a place of honour in my room once we're moved in.

05. Somebody over at Paper Back Swap had a copy of my book "Original Blessing" (the one that got banana'd) so there is a nice non-gross copy on its way to me. \o/
