In spite of what is to follow, I've been enjoying myself some these past few weekends, and should soon have pictures posted of me in my Miami gangster Halloween costume. But that will come later

Far be it from me...renfairegirl03October 31 2005, 13:24:48 UTC
...to try and assuage a Scorpio's suspicions, but I would like to say something in defense of the 'entirely too busy' theory. It is possible, and it does happen. Like you said, it's happened before. While I don't know any of the particulars and could be totally wrong, there's also a possibility that history is just repeating itself and she's overloaded.
I am one of the 'entirely too busy' girls, and I realized a long time ago that I have neither the time nor the energy to invest in a serious relationship that's going to require a large percentage of my time. If someone wants to date me, but not be around me constantly and be willing to let me disappear almost completely around exam time, then we would get along just fine, but alas, I tend to run into the guys who desire constant attention from a doting girlfriend. My life and the goals I've set for myself don't allow me to be that right now, and it's a pain in the arse trying to get some guys to understand that.
That being said, she may have too much going on in her life, but still think she's able to handle a relationship too (which is obviously not true, since you're so frustrated with the situation). Perhaps you should think about telling her to come back when she's got more time to devote to you, so that it's more of an even trade than a constant battle.

Oh, I do think the most likely answer is that history is repeating itself. But suspicion still rears its ugly head, and just won't leave me be.
To be honest, if we lived in the same town, where I could get some face time and a night together once or twice a week, along with a phone call every few days, I'd be happy. Since that isn't the case, between Denton and Dallas, us seeing each other once every three or four weekends shouldn't be too much to ask, but evidently, it is.
Thanks for weighing in on the topic...I do appreciate your two pence.

Just my two pence,
