so i just watched this movie "A Midsummer's Night Rave" ..it was basically a very loose adaption of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer's Night Dream" set at a modern day L.A. rave... everyone is on ecstasy ..everyone is dancing ..everyone is looking for the right person to love ..Oberon is O.B. John who lurks in the shadows of the rave watching everyone and sending Puck out to sell his drugs for him ...the main theme of the story was still there but a little fucked up... four lovers (among many others) being twisted by Puck's ecstasy ...i thought it was an interesting way to portray the story ...perhaps it will make a good midterm project for lit&hollywood next year cause i think the midterm is taking a story thats been turned into a movie and writing a 5 page paper on it ...at least thats what i think Burgmyer told me
among other news... the seniors are gone from coyle in like 2 weeks.. that means in like 2 weeks we basically take over as the seniors ...fricken weird? yeah thats what i thought ... i want to go to college and have fun and stuff but at the same time i never want any of it to end ...i really dont want to work at some boring job for the rest of my life and be poor and have to take care of my family and deal with bills ...thats wicked shitty and not fun ...i like fun too much for that to be me ...lindsay graduates college next week ...theres an awards ceremony thing too and we have no idea what its for but lindsay got a letter telling her she has to sit behind the podium at it because shes receiving a special award or something ...i think i got jipped out of some of the good genes cause she got them all ...damn her lol ...but she'll be home in less than a month and im excited ...maybe i can have her teach me how to drive? that'd be sweet since our parents are stupid and won't teach me ...she didnt get her license til she was 18 ...yeahh ...i dont want to wait that long
