The End To Another Year
Wow! This week alone has made enough memories to last forever. Mostly good but some are just sad. I'm going to start of the entry of a recap of the past week I guess.
-Christmas-
Christmas this year was probably the best I've had in awhile. I got a lot of good gifts such as a mini Ipod, Seasons 1-8 of FRIENDS on DVD, lots and lots of clothes, RENT and WICKED Cd's (not burned anymore), a B-E-A-UTIFUL folder from Marissa, and many other things, so thank you everyone for that. My family got invited to the Sanchez's for Christmas and they had the best food ever. My favorite was the dessert made by Lindsay and Lauren. It was the best trifle I have ever had.
-Marissa's House-
The day after Christmas Marissa's had me, Steph Cap, Kt, AJ, TJ, Jon, and Dan over to play Scene It and Cranium. That was the best time I have had in a long time. Girls beat the boys in both Cranium and Scene It. We then played a game of Scene It with four teams, boy/girl. It was me and Jon, TJ and Marissa, KT and Dan, and Steph and AJ(haha). So get this: TJ and Marissa were in last place and the rest of us were in the circle. They caught up to us and they beat us. It was the worst game ever. It was so pathetic but a lot of fun. The guys left after that game and the girls stayed over for a sleepover. We talked, took pictures, and watched Gilmore Girls. We also made hot pockets and bagel bites and found out that it had snowed. That night was a blast.
-New York City, Baby-
Tuesday me, Marissa, TJ, Jon, and Dan went into the city. It was soooo much fun. Buying tickets for the train was an adventure in itself but we were able to figure it out eventually. Once we got into the city we walked to Times Square and went into the Toys R Us store. We first went into Candy Land so Riss could get a bag of colorful M&M's. Then Marissa and I dragged Jon to the Barbie House where he stayed outside while we went into the house and got our picture taken. After that we met up with Amanda and her boyfriend, that we like to call Utah. We walked to Rockefellar Plaza, watched the Ice Skaters and went into the NBC Store for all of five minutes then we decided to go get some lunch. TJ decided that we should go to Houlihans. So we get in, sit down and look at the menu and almost got up and left. We all decided to get something from the appetizer menu because it was really expensive. We all still wound up putting in twenty bucks each and oh my we will never go back again. After that Amanda took us to a store that had this huge sal going on. We didnt buy anything but it was fun to look around and the guys just looked so funny standing there not knowing what to do in a girls store. We went back to the train station and decided to go find a Starbucks because Marissa had a gift card. It took us a good 10minutes to find a Starbucks. The ride home was fun, we took pictures and just talked about random things. That night me, Marissa, Jon and Dan went over to TJ's where we played Scene It. It was me and Jon vs. Marissa and TJ, and Dan was the DVD master. Me and Jon beat TJ and Marissa twice and then they had a poor victory in the third game. After that we played bolderdash. I hate that game but it was just funny hearing all of the stupid definitions we came up with.
-Round Robin-
Yesterday Marissa's neighborhood had a round robin and me, Lindsay, TJ, Liz, and Jon went over her casa and played Scene It and then watched Napoleon Dynamite. Twas lots of fun.
-New Year-
This year has gone by so fast and we have all grown up so much. From boys, to school, to plays, so much has changed me and I feel I have changed for the better. I'm actually content with where I am in life right now. I can't wait to see what happens this year. Happy New Year Everybody!
