I received this email today from The Grange hotel in Toronto in regards to why I was charged an additional $60CDN fee after my recent trip.
"We have never had such a rowdy group in our hotel. The extra charges were basically for cleanup of your room.
There was excrement in the corridor outside you room and also on the carpet in your room.
This was not pleasant to clean up and we had to get special cleaning service for this duty.
