And it's quiet.
As you let me watch you in your most vulnerable state.
You know,
The one in which you waver in your certainty
And think for a moment
That maybe someone else is in control.
And I'm quiet
So as to not startle you.
I figure me watching you now is pressure enough.
Now you're quiet.
Because you're wavering again.
Hoping that your words are heard
And your prayers answered.
Because you cease to have control-
For this moment in now.
And it's quiet
Because you're regaining your strength
And weaknesses are set aside
Because you understand that after fear
The power of choice lies in you.
And so you have your control and your certainty,
And you've come to save your day,
Because you understand that without fear
You can have it all.
