This kind of stuff is so interesting!
I read a story once of a man that had a railroad nail/beam (a few feet long) shot at an angle to his skull and he survived. Talk about a headache.

they didn't state which part of the brain but here's another photo from the side. you can see 2 nails went through his neck.
