WELL, i DID have a magnificent day yesterday! With Braces, Twitchy, and Stupid. oh yes. working with inner city kids at the Salvation Army downtown. i adore those kids. and as you know, kids like giving people nicknames!
i was Shorty.
i was named by a small girl. i said i'm not short and told HER to stand up.
she looked at me and said, "I'm 9 years old. i'm supposed to be this tall."
those kids are HILARIOUS! i LOVED helping out there and i'm hoping to go there as many thursdays as i can before work starts. cause seriously, i haven't had so much fun in ministry in a long time!
and then after that, i spent some good time with an ooold buddy of mine! our friendship dates back to the Kindergarden era! wow was that good! and even better was the fact that we have plans for more hangouts when i get back from Mexico. i love re-establishing relationships!
I love life.
