old friend
reading old entries is always fun. i read all the way back to entries from my junior year of high school...now im a junior in college. weird. time has flown by.
i'm all moved into my new house. i like it here a lot...allyson and jay are pretty awesome. lets see, what else can i update you people with....does anyone still read this? i read my friends page occasionally and i mostly only see the communities i'm friends with. scott and i broke up several months ago, but it was mutual. we're still good friends and we will be, he was a major part of my life for almost 3 years. i'm dating someone new. his name is robert and he's a photo major at scad like me. i'm happy. hmmm, what else. my relationship with my aunts and my parents is on the rocks. its a long story, but basically my aunt has been feeding my parents a whole bunch of lies about me, which they in turn get mad at me about.... i decided to move out of my aunts house to get away from her..... my parents get mad at me for moving out, they dont think i can handle myself financially...i have a great job that pays me really well, i take that back, i have two jobs that pay me really well....my parents then decide to cut me off financially minus my car insurance and cell phone. so yea. basically they're not speaking to me and i'm not speaking to them. which is fine, i need that right now. for the past two months i have been nothing but an emotional wreck because of them. but now that i'm out of my aunt's and she's not watching my every move and reporting it to my parents....i feel so much better. i've always been on my own agenda since i left for college....so being back on someone else's was not working out at all.
i start school on sept. 10th. i can't wait, i need to be doing my own photography. i have a couple of amazing documentary series i'll be starting once school gets going....i'm so excited about them. robert and i have been working on several projects this summer starring us. they're pretty awesome. i'll put up a link once the site is done....basically we're going to be famous. haha. my internship with sunday paper is over. it was amazing while it lasted. i got to photograph some really cool stuff this summer, falcons training camps, huge festivals, concerts, rallies..... hopefully next summer i'll be able to land an internship with ajc or new york times or ap or time. fingers crossed.
so thats about it, my life in a somewhat nutshell as of late.
