*this post is in reference to a post someone else made on deadjournal, so don't give me any jesus comments on it, please*
ok, so I have this friend, a few friends, really, and they follow this religion that is based on murder, betrayal and lies. For instance, just 200 years ago, followers of this religion would baptize american indians in a river and then cut off their heads when they came out the other side of the river. "West or bust, in god we trust, let's rape, let's kill, let's steal". Also, said religion has caused more bloodshed than any other religion, faction, or government in all of history.
damn, i wish i was that cool. I wish I could start offering people my religion to have as their own! Then they can help carry the cross of blood, lies, and deceit across all the globe!
now i'm sorry if this came across maliciously or innapropriate, but i was just appalled at the ignorance and stupidity of these incidents. i love my friend who follows this religion, and i'm not going to treat him any differently because of it. i just wanted to call attention to this because i find it ridiculous.
