Nope, not dead.
I think it's an appropriate time to re-emerge after being in hiding for a while.
I'm going into New York City this Saturday to see Spamalot! I think this trip to the city will be more successful than my last because I won't be spending the night in the Port Authority. (Also, I can finally return to SugarSweetSunshine for the best cupcakes ever.)
I finally had my camera repaired. I dropped it over Thanksgiving break and didn't discover that it was broken until I tried to have three rolls of film developed after Christmas and they all came back blank. I had an angry moment.
Earlier this year, I was without internet access at home for over 2 weeks. This was very difficult for me. I ended up watching a lot of DVDs with commentary during this time and I read more than usual. Now I've made an arrangement to share internet service with my downstairs neighbor of ambiguous sexual orientation.
I keep having dreams about the Mellow Mushroom that now exists in Spartanburg. I've never been there, but it has been the setting for at least two dreams I've had recently. I definitely look forward to eating there whenever I go home. I miss that pizza! (Though I'm not exactly convinced Spartanburg deserves to have a Mellow Mushroom...)

Director's Series Vol. 4: The Work of Director Mark Romanek: This is a top-notch collection of impressive music videos that would appeal to a wide audience; of all the Director's Label DVDs, this one is easily the most accessible.
Flannel sheets: Warm. Soft. 'Nuff said.
Peanut M&Ms: I can't stop eating them.

"Dexter": Yeah, so thanks to www.surfthechannel.com, I have now watched all the episodes of Dexter. I kept hearing people rave about it, and it is definitely a decent show that involves CHARACTERS and A SCRIPT. I enjoyed the first season a lot.
