Something like an actual update...
I'm halfway through my first semester here!
In addition to surviving a really intense weekend of studying for a massive test, I have found a new apartment that I like and want. If all goes well, I'll be signing the lease this week and moving in the middle of December. I hope to actually stay in this apartment for a few years, because moving every year sucks.
There's nothing wrong with my current apartment, but the new one I like is in a much better neighborhood and is within walking distance of at least three of my friends.
It's a good bit more expensive, but also HUGE--twice the size of my current place. The apartment has two floors and eight closets!
