you beat nothing, uncle sam stole your money from your paycheck before you even got to see it, than he gave you some back to make him look like the good guy when really he gave back less than he stole. than you made a conscious decision to roll through a stop sign without violating anyone elses life, liberty, or property, and you get slapped with a ticket that will circulate back into the system.
