Queen Vic, Airports and avenue q

Feb 26, 2011 18:36

Richard's back in town and I managed to catchup with him at the last Queen Vic night market, which was fun. It was great to see him again and to have a chat. Plus the food at the queen vic was awesome...I was patriotic and went to the Aussie food tent again and had some Emu, croc and roo. :)

Went and picked my dad up from the airport...I joked that he was running late due to customs but he actually DID walk out 1.5hrs late due to customs. Crazy...maybe I should start making jokes about getting a gold-plated toilet :P Whilst it was fun actually getting to use the big screen TV, I did miss my dad as well. :)

Went and saw an amateur production of Avenue Q which was pretty fun. Whilst the music is kickass as always, I'd forgotten the plot that happens inbetween the songs, and it was great to refresh my memory of it again. I definitely want to see a professional version of it again sometime...maybe the US version? ;)

As for me? Well...I'm feeling slightly rundown, sick and tired...but that's probably b/c of the bad day-old subway I had recently :P

I've got a party at the cleudo house tonight and since I have a free day tomorrow, I'm planning on catching The Fighter (11.15am) and 127 hours (4.40pm) at Doncaster village. At this stage by myself, so if you're interested, drop me a line.
