Well...since my last "what I've been doing" post was the end of March, here's 2 and a bit months worth of stuff in one go.
Party House V2 housewarming: Awesome awesome fun, got to meet up with a lotta people, have fun, drink, see albie get pretty darned drunk, chicken out and not talk to a cute girl...ya know the usual.
monsters vs aliens 3d: GREAT concept, not so great execution. Not much character development. 3D was nice.
The Fall at ACMI: Fantastic movie and I've bought the Bluray of it. It look stunning, the location scouts deserve every penny.
Grindhouse at the Astor: So good I watched it again, and this time I wasn't by myself! Might just have to buy the japanese collectors edition.
Shelly's housewarming: GREAT fun was had by all
fire training: Signed up and got some training to be a fire warden at work. I got to use a fire extinguisher legally!
adrians going away party: sad and fun at the same time. He's going o/s to get married...man... Great party and the after party was awesome awesome fun :P
wolverine!!: First time I watched it i wasn't too impressed. they messed with Marvel continuity too much. Second time around I watched from an uninformed audience viewpoint, and it was pretty good.
hamish came back: and we partied for a week.
star trek imax: Fun fun fun movie, and all the little nods to star trek made me LOL.
Leila birthday party: Good times and met some nice new people.
Dan's birthday party and dom's birthday party: Sucks when parties clash, had mega fun at both...too bad I couldn't split myself.
amy's housewarming: Good times again, too bad I was late and missed a few people.
terminator salvation directors suite: From a popcorn viewpoint, a fun movie. From a critical viewpoint, maybe a 6 outta 10.
superhero symphony: Awesome awesome fun. When the Incredibles suite was played....fantastic. And when Superman was played....brilliant. Oh and I saw a great moment in history. Had dinner with 5 girls and they all refused to have dessert. It was a miracle.
Simply Bread 3 - street fighter 4 comp: Awesome fights. Too bad I'm not into fighting games.
