Was anyone else outside last night?
Two words: Aurora Borealis.
It was fucking spectacular. I've seen it in pictures, but those looked like they were narrow-angle shots. This sucker covered the entire sky for at least 6 hours straight. What was really cool was the small meteor shower that took place during one of the peaks of activity, so there was this awesome pulsating green glow with little white streaks whipping across it... so amazing. It was well worth the sub-freezing temperatures and wind on the roof to see it... I just wish I had a camera.
