They voted for the subjugation and domestic/sexual slavery of women and girls. They voted for the destruction of the llgbtq+ community. They voted to hand Putin over to the US, via Trump. Now they want help from all of our communities? Basic fucking instinct is to shout, "NO, FUCK YOU! You didn't give a shit about any of us, don't expect us to give a shit about you now. YOU did. Fucking shut up and take it."
But the reality of the situation is that this is the exact response that the white male supremacist christofascists want. They want us to become so drained of empathy that we just throw out hands up in the air and say "fuck everyone." That would certainly make the right-wing agenda a lot easier for the terrorists to carry out.
But from the comments, it's clear that the plan worked. Look at all the people saying they don't care about people who don't care about them and therefore they won't do a damn thing to help those who stand to be deported and/or locked up in the camps.
Even worse, this same "law" will be used to take kids away from lgbtq+ families.
