"No, it wasn't that we forced a 9 year old to give birth without medical help until she tore in half, her bones fractures, her organs were mutilated and she bked out, it was the fact that, when she was 3, her mother took her to an amusement park where she might have come into contact with a drag queen, and that incident changed her biological makeup making childbearing dangerous. Or it could have been that piece of chocolate cake she had on her 5th birthday, or....." They will blame ANYTHING but their own actions, and the fact that childbirth has always been dangerous and deadly, especially for young, underdeveloped girls. We heard about certain incel vermin podcasters being paid by Russia, but there are normal, average people also being paid - men AND women - to support and spread right-wing propaganda. They're selling the futures of their own daughters (and their sons, too, if their sons ever knock someone up and the woman and baby DIE because of these laws) for luxury cars, vacations and summer homes.
In 2021, before the banning of Roe v Wade, Texas passed a huge ban on abortion care, leaving in only minimal protections for the life of the mother - so vague, though, that doctors had to fear doing anything. Because of this, the number of women (and girls) who died from pregnancy or birth related complications went through the roof. After RvW fell, maternal mortality rose by 50%. Did you get that. Fifty fucking percent. And this isn't just because people who needed abortions and would die without them were refused. It is also because the "abortion" bans scared doctors off doing other things, literal life saving medical care to SAVE mother and baby, because it could be seen as harmful to the baby, such as early delivery. Refusing medical intervention that has saved millions of women for decades has led to an increase in maternal mortality, where most of those deaths were preventable.
Aside from that, the maternal mortality rate across the nation has increased by 11% since abirtion bans have spread like a plague through red states.This is intentional torture and killing.
