Here are some songs you should listen to if you want to continue being my friend (jk jk).

1. Loch Lomond "Elephants and Little Girls"
If your name is novemberpearl, you may or may not recognize this song from the conceptual Christmas mix CD from last year even though it was not presented to you until this summer. Otherwise, you may recognize it from a camera commercial. I saw it the other day and was like, "Nooo. What are you doing? This is a sad song..."

You can get it for free at Amazon here!

2. Akron/Family "Don't Be Afraid, You're Already Dead"
Hm, I wasn't going to include this song, but while we're taking songs from Vivi's CD... I'm embedding the scene from Skins from which I heard it. Watch it or don't, I wouldn't want to induce "spoilers." I decided to include since they're coming to town next month, I think.

3. Throw Me to The Statue "Lolita"
I think this song was used in a commercial as well, but I can't remember. The girl in the video is so pretty, and the singer reminds me of Chris O'Dowd, which is weird because I've only seen him in The IT Crowd and not Bridesmaids, and the singer's voice is so calm and soothing, and Roy is just so boisterous!

4. Blue Gowns "Blue Hawaii"
I feel like I've been hearing a lot of the dreamy sound lately whether it be from the folk Wye Oak or the electronic and glitch Phantogram and Baths to the more trip/hip hop Dutch. So to stand out when I go on a free mp3 spree from Amazon is a big deal (or not, I'm just a weirdo). The music may not seem like anything extraordinary; the vocals may even seem odd and not fitting to be vocals, but the lyrics!

Download free on Amazon.

All these songs are pretty sad. Maybe I'll make a happy song post, but I have hit the 1000 song mark on my iTunes...
