Hey LMK what you guys think if you listen to some of these :D
I hope you all don't think I'm some sort of music snob that's enforcing my musical beliefs upon you via mix CD.
It's just that with the Christmas CDs, I was going to have a theme for everyone and story for each CD, make sure the songs flowed, have soundbites that matched the feeling/tone of the music, and make neato cover art and liner notes. By having a story for each CD, I mean having a story that came full circle. Like an album that wouldn't just have sad songs, but being able to go from a happy delirium to a storm a-brewin' and then coming out of the storm to a future that may not be the delirium of the past but a change has happened and life can go anywhere from that point.
Obviously, I didn't get to make everyone's CD/make the ones I did give as detailed as the preceding paragraph. I had just started thinking about lyric/liner pages when I decided to redo Vivi's CD. And I had covers, but they printed out wrong I guess because of our new computer and printer so I'm going to upload them here & here.
Also, I tried to choose music that fit the theme-story and hopefully the receiver would enjoy.
People are just saying they don't even listen to music anymore; I am just trying to contribute... Please do not feel that you cannot do so... Please do so! :]
With that being said, I'm going to post songs I particularly enjoy and would like the share, starting with the amazingness of SLEIGH BELLS and CSS.
