Gunman at VA Tech takes down 22 people and himself. No students were armed so they could stop him...
Those in congress who voted for that commie gun control act of '68 would die slowly from bone cancer of the hip if I had my way.
(*edit*- the whole slow death by cancer thing was but a moment of anger- please ignore)
As for tonight, I'm supposed to have it off, but with my company it's always a fingers crossed sort of thing. Two people quit the last time i was supposed to have off...ended up having to leave Pan's Labyrinth about 20 or 30 minutes into it.
Speaking of movies, The Last Mimzy is a really really good one.
Without throwing in any spoilers, I'll say there's just one group of characters whose actions don't seem to match what any intelligent person would think they'd do.
Other than that, brilliant movie and the kids are *really* good actors.
As for the school n' tax convergence, I'm supposed to get 1100-plus back if this form 8903 thing pushes through. That'll pay for summer tuition. We'll see...
Shoulda been able to study more last weekend, but had a second bout of food poisoning from some shrimp rolls from a place that's never given me anything bad in the years I've eaten there.
I licked it faster this time by not eating anything on the worst day- just one of those immunity-boosting yogurt drinks followed by another two packs of yogurt during the day.
Now I'm off to get some (really) good Kung Pao at Palace next to the theater in Trussville, pay the car insurance and work on the taxes.
