Moving Making! ... and all that good stuff in between
Today was awesome! I had so much fun today so here it goes.
I went driving this morning and lets just say I'm really good at it. So much for being afraid.
Around 11:30, Zack came over and we discussed plans for our movie project. At 12:30, we left to pick up Zac and headed off to the park. We get inside the park and we realize we forgot the umbrella at my house, so we leave and go to CVS to buy one. They don't have any. We go to Zack's house and finally get an umbrella. We then decide to go to Zac's house and begin the filming there. All went really well. The angles of the shots were really good.
We then left and went back to the park. We get there and noticed the part of the park we wanted to go to was closed off. We basically said fuck it and jumped the barricade. Being stupid when I'm nervous, I was all giggly the whole time because I was sure some park ranger was going to catch us or some passer by was going to rat on us. Instead, we tried to make it look like we were meant to be there.
In the end, what we thought was going to be a great place to shoot part of our film, wasn't. As we walked back to the car, we though of somewhere else to shoot and we decided on the bleachers in the Duette Middle School field. The filming there turned out really good too. The best part was dumping all that candy I bought onto Zac. He loved it too. At one point during the shooting, I had to pee really bad and I couldn't wait so I ran into the nearby woods to do my business. It was really silly but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. Then I noticed Zac did the same thing but that's so different. He's a guy. You get it right?
And that was our filming experience. We had a lots of laughs and all in all, I think it turned out really well. I look forward to seeing the footage on Monday.
Work was also really good tonight. I got to do my very first order where I actually took the order, made the pizza, cut the pizza and then sold it to the customer who came to pick it up. Pretty cool. The only other person I know who's done that is Jorge and Erik. I'm so cool.
Okay enough babbling. It's the last week of school. Hooray. Yep ... See you all at my house on Saturday!
