They stared at the boy, unable to say a word. Minamoto cleared his throat and spoke up. “Alright, you two. Go to your seats so we may begin the class.”

That snapped them out of their reverie as the two then nodded in reply before heading to their assigned seats with slight hesitation. The students around them were watching their every move, as if waiting for something to happen.

As Reita and Uruha passed between the two rows, they could see Matsumoto's smirk widened. It seriously pissed Uruha off because it almost looked like it was all a part of his plan, whatever that was.

Uruha took the first seat available, which happened to be the second to last seat. Reita took the seat behind the younger but unfortunately, it was right beside Matsumoto. He frowned as the boy raised a brow in mirth. As if there is anything to be happy about, that jerk.

After the two seated, Minamoto began his class.

It had been only a few minutes when the boy besides Reita began to stare intensely at him. The blonde did his best to ignore the prodding look and listen to the lecture but it was proving to be a bit difficult. He had the feeling it was the same look he gave when they first met, not even an hour ago.

Reita propped his elbow and pressed his hand against his cheek, to block his view of the brunette. This made the smirk on Matsumoto's face falter. He refused to be ignored like that! How dare he.

An idea popped up. He grinned a bit as he tear pieces of notebook paper and rolled them into tiny balls. Then he tossed them at Reita's shoulder.

The blonde twitched, his hands slowly rolling up into fists. He shouldn't be reacting to the other's taunts, even if they were completely childish and annoying. He didn't want to fight on the first day of school.

Uruha took notice of Matsumoto's game and leaned back to Reita. Twisting his head a bit, he murmured, "Don't do it."

Reita lifted his head closely to his friend's ear. "I think it's obvious that I'm trying."

"Well, sorry. I don't have eyes at the back of my head." Uruha replies quietly. "But yeah, I know. I'm just saying it as an in case."

The older nodded.

"Sensei! These two are talking to each other." Matsumoto suddenly called up.

Uruha and Reita turned to him, incredulous. What the hell? How could he be tattletaling on them?

So not only was he childish, he also held grudges?

Their teacher sighed. "No talking please. I'll give you a warning for now."

The two blondes glared over to Matsumoto. If only they weren't in class, they would've beaten him into a pulp for doing something like this. Instead, they focused back to the lecture.

After all, it's school first, fights later. But for now, they need to be wary. Who knows what would happen next.

Over the next hour, Matsumoto had been poking, prodding, teasing, and pulling their strings. So far, no damages had been physically done but mentally...well, they're raging like there's no tomorrow.

Was this the reason why everyone sat away from the brunette? Because they knew what would happen if they did?

Reita looked up to the clock above the teacher and sighed inaudibly. Half an hour to go.

To be continued.

A/N: I'm sorry. It's short and pointless but I'm planning to make it longer in the next chapter. >_<;
