Made-over
So... Thursday evening I went to Max Factor in Bluewater for a free bridal makeover.
I must admit that I was a little scared I might end up looking like Coco the Clown... or turn orange like some of the cosmetic counter girls.
But I was pleasantly suprised. The girl who "did" me was absolutely delightful... and I ended up with a whole gaggle of counter girls surrounding me as she slapped on more and more layers of make-up.
Apparently I have cheek-bones, which I was pleased about... She did insist on trying me with a deep red lipstick even though I protested and said I'd look like a slapper. After applying the lippy, she agreed (I looked like a slapper) and we opted for a more neutral shade (thank goodness!).
