all people are motivated by self interest
it has recently come to my attention that EVERBODY is just out to use people. pardon the sweeping generalization, but thats how it seems. hardly anybody is nice just to be nice. hardly anybody goes a day without using somebody or manipulating somebody. im tired of fake people that are self involved. a true friend is somebody that you can count on to think of your needs and care about helping you as a person. friends are supposed to be dependable and capable of self sacrafice to help those they love. im tired of people who are so busy calculating their next move and trying to figure out how to exploit people that they lose sight of the importance of being a good person. there are rewards in being a good person too. you get the satisfaction of knowing that your a good person. it may not buy you new shoes or get you a ride to the movies, but being a good person is something to be proud of. i would do anything i was capable of to help a friend in need. and not because they would return the favor, but just to be nice! i also believe that people who are only out to gain things for themselves lead less happy lives. using people will eventually land a person with no friends. i think everybody should help people and be a good person just because its the right thing to do. okay my little rant is over...in other news, nobody comments! i write awesome stuff and no1 cares! comment now!
